Defined small-business projects
Business & office setup for small businesses
Build the office basics before scattered admin becomes the way you work. We help small-business owners put files, responsibilities and everyday routines in order through a defined project with a clear finish line.
Remote and in-person project support across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Talk about your projectA good fit
When this project can help.
For a new business getting its office organized, an owner doing everything from memory, or an existing business ready to replace improvised admin with a usable routine.
Practical deliverables
What the project can include.
We agree on the work and finish line before starting. A project can include:
- A short review of the office work, tools and recurring gaps.
- An agreed folder structure and file-naming guide.
- A simple enquiry or task tracker with clear next steps and owners.
- Reusable templates and a recurring admin checklist for the agreed work.
- A handover guide showing where things live and how to keep them current.
An example of the work
Illustrative project, not a client story: a trade business needs one place for enquiries, prepared quotes and job paperwork. A setup project could create the tracker, folder structure and follow-up routine, then show the owner how to use them. The owner keeps control of prices and terms.
How it works
A clear scope. A usable handover.
We start with a conversation about what needs attention, define the project and deliverables together, then build and test the agreed routine with you. The project finishes with a practical handover so you can keep using what we put in place.
Common questions
Before we begin.
Do we need new software?
Not necessarily. We first look at the tools you already use and agree on any changes before making them.
Does this include registering the business or doing the books?
This is office and administrative setup. Legal, tax and accounting advice, payroll processing and regulated compliance are outside the service.
What happens when the setup is finished?
The project ends with the agreed deliverables and handover. Limited ongoing support can be discussed separately, with its own scope.
